I've mentioned this news on my twitter, and my instagram, but just in case, I wanted to tell y'all here on the blog!I got a job! I'm so thankful for it. It's PERFECT for me right now. It all actually kind of fell into place randomly.I wasn't really looking, but just happened to come across a posting in the local paper.I had always said I would like to have something LOW stress, part time, and with hours that would work well with our military lifestyle. (aka Snookums usually gets home later in the evening, and we only get a very few hours together before it's time for him to head to bed, as well as weekends off!)I saw a posting for PT, Monday-Thursday from 9-5 and Friday from 9-2, weekends always off. And I jumped on that sucker!!! ;)I called that morning, came in for an interview the next day and scheduled a second interview a day later. About10 minutes after leaving my second interview, they called and offered me the job!! YAY! I really think it was just meant to be. I'm basically a glorified receptionist, or office manager. Whatever you want to call it..It's for a hearing medical office, and we do hearing tests and the like!Just even in the first two weeks, I can see how this is a rewarding business.
So, far, I love it! It's low stress, I love the people I work for, I love the elderly clients I get to work with, and y'all, I get to wear scrubs to work. (pajamas). You can't beat that.Can't say that I love how I look in scrubs. But hey, you can't win at life all the time!Two of my favorite things about the job so far?Shooting the shit with the old peeps that come in. (they are HILARIOUS)And, I love all the downtime they give me!(I'm sure you've noticed a little more frequency with my posts! And my Mahjong scores are now at an all time high! haha)Just wanted to update y'all in bloggy land what I've been up to! ALSO. We went to our Army ball this weekend!
