I had soooo many pins of crafts I wanted to try from last year around Halloween, but never got to, because I was working on my biggest craft project EVER! (our wedding!)
Anyway, now that I got a little time to get to it, I wanted to show you my Pinterest "inspirations" and what I ended up with afterwards!

My take:
I just bought a white fake pumpkin, and a black paint pen! It says "The (Our last name) EST. 10.21.11 (Our wedding date!) and then I bedazzled that sucker, used Martha Stewart glitter on the stem, and added a little tiny wedding ring gem! This craft was almost the death of me. I didn't like doing it at all. It seems simple enough, just roll all the pages, stack them, glue them etc. Nope. All of them need to be the same size, on each layer, they all have to lay right, or else you end up with one row being all wonky. I literally thought I would lose my mind on this craft. Thankfully, Snookums is smarter than me (only time you will ever see me admit that) and he figured out a way to make them all uniform. He also came up with the idea of using one of the paper rosettes I made for the center! But don't tell him I told you that. He might get embarassed. LOL!Moving on... Inspiration:
My Take:
I found some free holiday printables online. I wish I could remember where these were from! I made a couple layers of cool paper under the printable, and made my rosettes from the same old book pages I used on my wreath!I tried a few different ways of hanging them outside. I really wanted them to be a cool garland. That idea failed miserably. So, I just did a cute little arrangement on the windows!
I love having a porch to decorate! :) If only I could get it done a little earlier than right before the season so it could stay out there a little longer. Oh well. Also, don't mind my REAL cobwebs on my windows. I left them there for the effect. (bahahaha. yeah right)
Do you all always do the crafts exactly like you see them on Pinterest? Or do you do your own spin on them?Or can I just not follow directions? (truth)
Wanna follow me on pinterest?
