OR at least scroll down and read how my favorite army wife (ROXY) tweeted me!! **
This episode was SURREAL!First, General Kevin Clark and his wife Jackie arrived at Ft. Marshall (from Ft. Hope) to check it out!
I don't know about you all, but the SECOND Jackie started talking I didn't like her. I think she has something up her sleeve. We saw that Denise knew Jackie from working with her in a previous FRG, and was already super buddy-buddy with her. Obviously, this could, and seems to cause some tension among Jackie and Claudia Joy. As the episode went on, it became more and MORE obvious that Jackie was trying to step ALL on Claudia Joy's toes. "Dropping in" on her FRG meeting unannounced, considering it a possibility to ask for the largest house on post (come on. really?) as well as wearing a slinky little red cocktail dress to Claudia Joy's casual dinner she hosted. We ALL know that is a big no no. Don't show up the hostess.
As usual, Claudia Joy handled it with grace, but she expressed to Michael that she thought Jackie and General Clark were out to beat Michael and Claudia Joy for the job. (I think she's right!)
Pamela's home was condemned, and everything in it was RUINED! She and her kids were still staying with Roxy and Trevor, and it was becoming very obvious that there were too many people in the house. Roxy, in true Roxy form, tried EVERYTHING possible to work things out for Pamela so she would stay and not move on to California with her husband Chase right away. Roxy even went down to the housing office and "pulled rank" and threatened the employee with calling Claudia Joy because the housing office wasn't willing to help a silver star recipient and a 2LT. (P.S. sorry, but why hadn't they been upgraded to officer's housing anyway when Trevor made 2LT?? Bad move Army Wives ppl, we know our stuff!!)
Roxy of course got in trouble with Trevor for "pulling rank", but she got her bigger and better house! GO ROXY!
Joan's least favorite civilian employee also made her way onto the episode. Charlie, took to Roland and Joan's newly adopted son David, and talked Roland into having David join the kid's group she runs on post. She also figured out that David is HIV positive, while Roland questioned her to make sure it would stay confidential. (I think that will definitely become an issue in a later episode. Charlie seems nice, but a little off to me.)
And finally, Pamela decided enough was enough, and she was moving her kids out to California with Chase (I don't blame her!). I have to say that the little montage they had of everyone with Pamela was so sad! It's crazy that Pamela is leaving and she was the WHOLE reason all of the wives ended up together in the first place! The SADDEST part of the whole episode was when Roxy and Pamela finally had to say goodbye. That was rough. Although I haven't been through it yet, I know it's super hard for us military/army wives to say goodbye to friends that have basically become family when PCSing to another post.
I thought it was a great episode! I LOVE the new drama between Claudia Joy and Jackie. I think Claudia Joy is such an inspiration in a lot of ways. That girl can handle her shit. (haha)
Next episode looks like the drama might heat up between them!
