I got an AMAZING bloggy makeover from my fabulous and talented friend Kristen over at
I have always absolutely LOVED her blog designs. She is unbelievably talented. Her designs are so fresh and original! She's always coming up with an adorable design to switch up her own blog, and she's designed quite a few of my favorite blogger's blogs too!
She's so talented, and funny (I mean duh, look at her blog name) and gorgeous, and her and her husband have got to be one of the cutest couples I've ever seen in my life. No joke.

Let me tell you a little story of how this bloggy makeover came about.
This past Sunday, the day after Derby, I was traveling. I was happy because we were celebrating my brother's birthday, but I was also having a really "bad" day. If you've ever had a family member deployed, you know what I'm talking about. You just miss them. I had just spent the previous day celebrating Derby with friends, but I missed my husband. Derby was "our" thing. It was our very first date 3 years ago to the day. So, I was missing him. REALLY BAD.

Cue the lovely Kristen, of Whiskey Tango Foxtrot , who messages me out of nowhere and says "Hey, I never do this, but I would really love to do a blog design for you if you would like?"
Cue big BABY tears from me. It was the sweetest gesture out of nowhere. I'm not trying to be dramatic people, but I REALLY needed a pick me up. She just came out of the blue and offered to do something so kind and thoughtful. I cannot even explain what it did for my morale. I of course was like "ARE YOU SERIOUS??" (because I swear, she and I could be sisters from another mister when it comes to our tastes, and I have loved every single design she has done!) She went on to tell me that she would so happy to do it because I deserved it, and she just wanted to do something nice for me!! SO sweet!

I had the best time working with her and talking back and forth about the design. It was SO easy. I jotted down a couple things I liked and didn't like, and I swear, it was like she was in my head!! When she sent me the final draft I literally SCREAMED I was so excited! I was like a giddy school child waiting on her to tell me it was o.k. to look at my blog!!! It's perfect. It truly fits my style and personality to a T.

I just cannot get over how much I LOVE IT, and how THRILLED I am that a fellow military wife and all around fabulous chickadee offered to do it at no cost for me! I just feel blessed.
